Who we are
A voice where there was silence
MAMA Centre was built on a simple refusal: to accept that a woman’s safety, a girl’s education, or a survivor’s dignity should depend on where she was born or who she knows.
Since 2014, we’ve worked the space between courtroom and community, pursuing litigation against gender-based violence, training women to read a balance sheet as well as they read a room, and putting reporting tools directly into the hands of people who’ve had none.
We don’t run one program and call it a mission. We run legal defence, economic training, maternal health delivery, and a live reporting platform, because the threats women and girls face don’t come one at a time, and neither should the response.
